Principle Of Operation:

Each tip of the bucket produces an on-off output when the magnet passes over the reed switch.

Principle Of Operation:

DWD 8601 wind vane is a counter balanced, low threshold wind vane. A Linear, wire wound endless potentiometer is coupled to the vane by an SS shaft. As the vane turns, it rotates a stainless steel shaft which is coupled to the potentiometer. This potentiometer has excellent linearity, very low starting torque.

The north of the wind vane is marked on its body. This line is to be aligned with actual North with the help of prismatic compass, at the time of installation. Sensor gives minimum resistance at North (i.e., 0 degree approximately 20 ohms ). The resistance output linearly proportional to the position of the wind vane.

Principle Of Operation:


There is a silicon solar photocell placed on top of the sensor mount , so that it is having a large viewing angle almost 180 degrees. The f sun’s presence is computed by the following principle, A shadow-band is rotated around the sensor to obtain the total incoming radiation, and diffused radiation (when the sensor is covered by the shadow band) by comparing the diffused and total radiation, we can assert the presence of sun. The shadow-band width is sufficient to cover the sun so that, a shadow falls on the sensor at any angle of sun. To minimize sensor position shift during seasonal sun’s change we have provided sufficiently large shadow-band.

The output of the sensor is amplified and the variation between the diffused and total is compared using a precision analog comparator and driven through a mono stable multi-vibrator. There is a LED indication on the top, which indicates the presence of sun; this will help during installation and adjusting the threshold levels.

For Threshold adjustments a potentiometer is provided this potentiometer can be accessed by removing the water tight rubber bushes on the sensor body. The sensor is already set for it’s optimum levels from factory.

Principle Of Operation:

Sunpro Soil Temperature sensor consists of a PT1000 RTD embedded at the thermally isolated tip of an SS316 probe 25 CM in length. The depth at which the measurement is to be made can be adjusted using a position adjustable ring provided on the stem.

The sensor wires are terminated in a weather proof SS head and a 20 meter cable is provided for connection to Datalogger or other circuitry.

Anemometer Weather Station

Principle Of Operation:

Anemometer is a fast response, low threshold op to electronic anemometer. When rotated by wind, a chopper on the anemometer shaft Interrupts an infra red light source , generating pulses from a photo transistor. The signal is amplified and fed through a line driver. The frequency is proportional to wind speed. The anemometer is provided with a 3 pin connector for easy replacement and comes with 10 meters of shielded cable.

For operation at low temperature the sensor can be supplied with a built in heater The Anemometer can be supplied with a 20W 24 V DC built in heater for operation at low temperatures.

HMI-075 (TFT) is an easy-to-use, reliable and cost effective choice for process parameter monitoring. This unit comes with different no of channels right from 8 channels to 16, 24, 32 or 48 channels. The 8” 256 colour (size 120 160mm) TFT monitors are used for attractive display. The 15” Display TFT’s are also available up to 96 channels . The splash proof 5 keys membrane keypad is given for setting up the user parameters. All channels can be seen on single screen with the internal scan rate of 125 msec / Channel. Inbuilt printer port is available for getting the report in with standard format of the Date, Time and the process value for each channel in separate columns. High Low alarm by visual indication highlighted by different colour.
